At Policlinica Alen, the unit containing digestive analysis deals with all problems which emanate from the digestive tract such as the oesophagus; stomach; small intestines; colon; rectum and anus as well as those problems which emanate from the liver, gall bladder and pancreas. - Diseases of the oesophagus: Inflammation, tumours, gastro-oesophageal malfunction, hiatus hernia….
- Stomach infections: dyspepsia, gastritis, ulcers, tumours….
- infections of the intestines: diagnosis and treatment of chronic diarrhoea, colitis, intestinal inflammatory infections (Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis).
- Pathology of the anal canal: piles, anal fissures….
• Hepatology:
- Viral Hepatitis, fatty liver, elevated transaminase and bilirubin
